C&O Canal

It has been a beautiful week! We have been getting out of the house and going on short walks around the neighborhood. Today Mommy wanted to get out of the house and we drove to one of the many locks along the C&O Canal!

Ali is such a handsome boy!

I'm a silly, crazy girl!

I wanted to throw stones in the river, but it was very far down and there was a big drop. Mommy said no.

I always tell Mommy that I love my brother, Ali.

Mommy and I stopped and saw this tree. Mommy asked me if I thought any animals lived in there.

I'm a good helper and wanted to push Ali in his stroller.

Ali looks a little frightened. The stroller was a little hard to push on the gravel path, but I did a good job.

We saw a turtle basking in the sun.

And a big bird who flew away as soon as it saw us.

For most of the trip, I was way far behind Mommy. She kept making me catch up!

I was watching the water at this lock. I wanted to know why the water was being blocked.

Ali took a short nap on the walk. He was very happy to see me when he woke up.

We had a great time and Mommy says since the weather is getting nicer, we will be doing this more often. That is A-OKAY with me and Ali!
